I made a chocolate cake today. With lots of chocolate inside and on top and sprinkles. I’m going to have some after my healthy dinner :-)

After, I made lots of chocolate chip cookies. Could use more chocolate chips though, but they’re good for a first attempt. I’ll eat those later too. When watching The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe. Happy days.

  1. Your chocolate cake looks delicious. So do the cookies. Although I would go for the cake personally. On account that I love chocolate.
I made a batch of cookies today. Seven big round double chocolate chip ones. Like the kind you get from sainsbury. They were a custom order for my housemate Emma. She ate all seven. I had a quarter of one and a couple of bites from another. She blogged about it here: http://3catsandarabbit.blogspot.com/
I’m hungry now. Must find sweets…..

The chocolate cake tastes awesome. It’s the secret ingredient see. Which is a secret. But makes it taste lovely.

Your cookies always look lovely. They put mine to shame. Although I’ve only made them once. How do you make double chocolate ones? Just add cocoa powder to the mix?

  3. Yes you could do it that way I suppose.
Or you could buy the double chocolate mix. It’s usually right next to the chocolate mix.
I like making triple chocolate ones the most – adding white and milk chocolate chips to the already chocolatey mixture.
Even better, adding dark chips as well.
And then sandwiching two together with chocolate spread.
And washing them down with a big mug of hot chocolate.
    With chocolate sprinkles.
    Yummy.

Wow triple chocolate ones. I’m dribbling at the thought. I love chocolate spread. I’m quite content just having a jar of chocolate spread and a spoon. It’s delightful. I’m going to get a cookie mix to make mine next time, I tried to be clever this time round and used a recipe….which is probably why they turned out to be more like cakey cookies than cookie cookies. Not that I’m complaining. Anything cakey or biscuity is loved by my tummy. Mmmmmm.
